Join Volunteer, internship programs in Moldova, Our program named “International Volunteer Academy” invite you to the following placements: Media, IT, Image maker, Organizing free time for children in orphanages, Teachers, English, Fundraising placements.

Placements description: We are seeking year around youth for Volunteer, Internship applications to work for our rapidly growing, fast-paced non-profit organization. We are looking for youth who is able to take initiative, and has good written and verbal communication skills. Though not a pre-requisite, the following background is preferred: a demonstrated interest in such subjects as international relations, peace building and fundraising, etc NGOs related deals. Enthusiasm for our mission is as important as experience and specific academic background, however. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to learn more about peace building, meet members of the nonprofit community in Moldova, and learn the logistics of a membership organization. Additional you will have opportunity to visit Moldova’s historical and holly places, also study Russian or Romanian languages etc.

Our Organization seeks youth, students, graduate students, undergraduate and any volunteers who will have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of work and experiences.

Following placements are available at our Association, NGOs, orphanages, medical and other places of our partners:

• Media -Writing articles etc. media work

• IT - Administration of networks and computers, - Migration of computers from Windows to Linux

• Image maker -Making booklets, - Creating video spots, -Creating thematic photos, - Making promotional materials

• Organizing free time for children in orphanages: - Sport trainers, - Swimming trainers, -Team building games

• Teachers - English

• Fundraising -Writing grant proposals, Attract sponsors and investors 1. Looking and find sponsors for the planed project of Association, 2. Looking and find sponsors or foundations where could be sent projects proposals of Association

3. Fill out projects applications proposals of Association

4. Keep contact and constant update information with sponsors and foundations about applied project

5. Asking projects coordinator or director any questions concerning well writing of projects proposals

6. Help edit in English and well write already writed projects proposal of Association

7. Find proper statistics to show importance of the project proposal

8. Connect association with International communities by developing partnerships and constantly promote image of Association

9. Active work with Association team in implement of its projects

10. Came with initiatives to develop related programs.

11. Sharing best practices with Association team members

12. Assist Association work in maintaining our field programs & partners

Volunteer duties may include also the following:

• Event planning ,• Fundraising ,• Country research ,• Program research ,• Maintaining databases ,• Logistical support

• Proofreading and writing reports, etc. office and field work

Description d’emplacement: Nous cherchons au cours de l’anée parmi les jeuns pour volontariat et applications de travail interne pour travailler pour notre croissane et développement rapide comme organization noncommercial. Nous cherchons des jeuns qui sont capables de prendre l’initiative et ont des abilites de communication ecrite et orale. Malgré aux non pre-condition on préfére les fons suivants: un intérêt démontré de telles sujets comme les relations internationales,construction de la paix et collection des fons etc, les Organisations Non Gouvernementales intéressés s’impliquent.L’ enthousiasme pour notre mission est ausssi important comme experience et fond academique special. C’est une bonne possibilités pour apprendre plus d’information concernant la construction de la paix, la reunions de membres des organizations noncommerciales de Moldavie, et apprendre la logistique des organization des members.Vous avez aussi la possibilité de visiter les places historiques et Saints de Moldavie, également la langue Roumaine et russe etc.

Daunele Fumatului

Cauzele Fumatului Practic nu poate fi vorba de un calcul real care sa estimeze totalitatea daunelor individuale si sociale provocate de fumat. Este vorba de imbolnavirile grave si de decesele survenite ca urmare a cancerelor si a altor complicatii redutabile ale fumatului, de cheltuielile enorme pentru tratarea bolilor provocate sau agravate de fumat, de ajutoarele medicale de boala, de pensii, de pierderile provocate productiei prin reducerea capacitatii de munca. Dincolo de toate aceste nejunsuri, paguba cea mai mare si de neinlocuit pentru societate pe care o aduce fumatul este pierderea de vieti omenesti , care intereseaza oameni la varste active, oameni in plina activitate creatoare, deosebiot de utili familiilor lor si societatii.Statistici INGRIJORATOARE: Diverse statistici dau cifre ingrijoratoare, demonstrand ca fumatul ucide de 4 ori mai mult decat accidentele de circulatie. Datorita intoxicatiei si uzurii prin fumat s-a ajuns anual la: 300 000 decese in SUA 70 000 in Germania 50 000 in Anglia 35 000 in Franta etc. Pe drept cuvant s-a considerat fumatul drept flagelul secolului XX, iar Organizatia Mondiala a Sanatatii la semnalul de alarma dat impotriva fumatului a dat si raspunsul cel mai labilFiecare sa aleaga, fumatul sau sanatatea ! Cresterea cea mai accentuata a numarului fumatorilor din ultimii ani se constata in randurile femeilor si tineretului, numarul tinerilor fumatori fiind mai mare in randul celor care provin din familii de fumatori. Intr-un studiu facut de Barnea printre studentii din diferite centre universitare din tara noastra s-a constatat ca procentul studentilor fumatori se situeaza intre 50-60%, iar al studentelor fumatoare a fost de 27-32%. Pe parcursul cercetarilor efectuate in timp de diversi autori se constata de asemenea o tendinta periculoasa si anume aceea a reducerii progresive a varstelor de debut ale fumatului. Aparat Salin Mi s-a comunicat faptul ca persoanele care doresc cu adevarat sa se lase de fumat reusesc mai usor acest lucru utilizand aparatul SALIN, fiind diminuate efectele nedorite pe care le resimt de obicei fumatorii in perioada de abstinenta. Ca o curiozitate, am sesizat ca tantarii nu agreeaza aerul purificat cu aparatul SALIN. Cum incepe totul ? (Cauze) Desi sunt bine cunoscute efectele vatamatoare imediate si indepartate ale fumatului asupra sanatatii, tinerii si tinerele incep sa fumeze ocazional sau devin fumatori permanenti din cele mai diferite cauze, unele puerile: din curiozitate din imitatie din dorinta "de a fi in randul oamenilor" de a parea maturi de a parea emancipati de a nu fi considerati "papa lapte" de a capata un plus de independenta, (!) de a "rezista" mai mult la oboseala, la efort intelectual(!) ca antidot al stresurilor diferite Iata deci ca de la niste motivari banale, lipsite de orice fundament logic, tinerii devin victimele unui viciu cu implicatii negative dintre cele mai grave asupra sanatatii.

According to our stated goals and mission: providing financial and psychological aid to all people and families in needs; in hopes that A. F.IRFF ONLUS will be an international forerunner of leaders who transform the world to be one worldwide family, of humankind, through relief and friendship,
We are looking NOW for national and international: partners, sponsors, participants, volunteers, grants and supporters for the projects:
I. For helping children and orphans
1. Long Distance adoption project
It is our intent to continue helping children from two orphanages located in two major cities in the Republic of Moldova. We are continually seeking sponsors who would be willing to provide monthly financial support to one or more orphaned children in Moldova. Termed “adoptive parents”, the sponsors are requested to send money to assist individual “adopted children” from the orphanages. This would enable the orphans, who receive only a weak support from the state, to receive greater benefits through the support offered by their “adoptive parents”. This aid would allow for the provision of clothing, school supplies, medical care and the satisfaction of all the child’s basic needs. This program is a long-term project and is still developing.

Beginning in January, the main goal of this project is to educate the young generation in the spirit of care for everything which represents life on earth and to prevent global warming. This project, which will be divided into two parts, will involve both the planting of trees to improve the local environment and the participation in the annual ‘Children’s Planet’ festival at the National Palace.
2. The festival Flower of peace
This event will take place at the National Palace on September 21 and will be dedicated to the International Day of Peace. At the festival young talents from all over the world including, Moldova, Ukraine and Romania will perform. Partners: 1. The Women’s Federation for Peace,2. Silver bells Organization.

II. For helping youth INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERS ACADEMY
3. Community Service Projects
As part of the ‘Youth Change the World’ initiative which represents a network of 40 youth clubs from different localities of the Republic of Moldova, our intent is to perform community service and ecological projects in all the localities involved in our initiative during this spring. This project will culminate in a large scale ecological project.


4. “The impact of youth in mass-media for peace” project
This project, which will be held in the summer of 2008, will include trainings, a summer camp workshop, community service projects and media summer schools on various topics, ending with the Media Festival dedicated to the International Youth Day.


5. The Voice of Community project
Together with Radio Singera we are planning on launching the “Voice of the community” radio program. This will represent a range of weekly broadcasts oriented toward serving the communities of approximately 100000 radio listeners, including those in the capital city.

III. For helping families and elders
6. The project for micro financing of the family businesses
This project, which will begin in June, will consist of diagnostic and consultancy support for the micro financing of family businesses and will end in an international conference where the code of ethics for business will be signed and awards will be offered for the best family businesses from the Republic of Moldova.

7. The Health Expo
This project will involve cooperation between traditional and nontraditional medicine and will present the Health Expo, with the participation of 100 physicians, 100 NGOs, 200 medicine students and 100 peer-educators from the country.


3. Monthly conferences and Global Peace Festival – peace project regarding the creation of a culture of peace
According to our established plans, it is our intent to organize monthly meetings and projects regarding the creation of a ‘culture of peace’. Well known personalities from the scientific, cultural and mass-media spheres, to name a few, will be invited. These meetings will result in an important scientific conference at the end of the year called “Family and the culture of peace in the Republic of Moldova” and Global Peace Festival.
